COLLEGE MERIT SYSTEM

The college provides safe and conducive accommodation for students. In addition, the college also serves as a service provider, providing guidance and counseling leading to academic excellence, personality development and student leadership through activities organized by the students or co-organized with the administration of colleges, faculty and universities.

In this regard, all students are encouraged to participate in organized and scheduled activities (activity calendars) at each admission session to obtain the amount of merit set to qualify for college stay at the next admission. Through this system, healthy competition can be enhanced among students in engaging with college activities leading to the creation of quality and competitive graduates.

Hence, all students who have been involved in the activity must record their involvement in the Student Activity Record Book given to students as they start registering as new students at UPM.

Criteria, scoring and calculation system of merit by level; Residential colleges, international/universities /nationals, associations/clubs and faculties can be found here.
