MERDEKA CHARITY SALES

Serdang, August 29 - Thirteenth College held a meeting to discuss the "Merdeka Charity Sale" in conjunction with the first-year undergraduate student enrollment. It aims to ensure the success of programs instill Faith Affection and Togetherness with the Homeless (F.A.I.T.H). The main purpose of the sale of this charity is to raise some funds for the program (F.A.I.T.H) to be carried out in November before. Meeting held to divide the task to collect used items such as clothing, electronics or contribution in the vicinity of the college. Meetings are held at 10.30pm until 11.00pm. The meeting was attended by the chairman of the Secretariat of Volunteerism as chairman to distribute tasks to committee members who have been appointed.

The day before the charity sale was held, all volunteers collect items that have been collected are classify by price and type of clothing. A sum of RM84 was collected from contributions of students and staff during the collection of the Thirteenth College held. Committee member in charge of sales divided to establish sites in Dataran Phoenix. Clothes are divided by type of donation. There are also clothes that have been labeled the price owner. Committee members who have been appointed to set up a sales act to provide a make shift dresser and hanging banners to attract customers who were present on the day of registration. Two donation boxes were prepared to collect donations on the day of the incident

On registration day, members of the committee have divided the task to collect donations and sell. Committee members were divided into two shifts of morning shift starts at 8.00 am to 12.00 noon and evening shift starts at 12.00 noon until 4.00pm. Registration starts around 8.00am and used goods, which were unveiled to some extent, attract the hearts of customers who visit the site sales. Among second-hand goods sold at the sales site is, glasses, hats, t - shirts, many kinds of scarves and jeans. Sales held quite impressive. In the evening, committee members began to sell around the hall collegiate and received interesting. Also donated money was collected on the day of the incident. At 5:00 pm, the session has already expired registration. Volunteers who work to keep the items and tools that have been used.
